AEU Rally

AEU RALLY

MELBOURNE, 2012.  On the 5th September, 2012, the largest ever stop-work meeting in Victorian history was held by 15,000+ AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION UNION affiliated teachers, principles, and supporting staff, with representatives of both private and public school systems. The march sought to encourage the Victorian Premier, Ted Ballieu, to live up to election promises, to express disinterest in performance-based pay, and to call for more money and better working conditions for education staff. The rally started at the Rod Laver Arena and ended up at the steps of the Victorian Parliament House.
